Empathy

2013, Silver gelatin prints, 30x40cm

When thinking about empathy I got carried away in experiencing the influence of past experiences on understanding and seeing of our space. How we perceive our surroundings, how the seeing is always formed by our mind and attention, since our time is alway defined by the past.My experience thus became a connection of past to present, of mind to the physical world, of filling the gaps and projecting, like in one’s dream, or, as one might call these photographs, daydreams. In my works I overlaped two means of expression: drawing - photography, hand - machine, expression - document, portrait - landscape.
